Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against a fraudulent service centre that has cheated me under the name of Siemens.
On 10th July 2025, I searched online for a Siemens washing machine service centre and found a toll-free number 1800 571 2055. A lady named Ms. Sana registered my complaint and sent a technician to my home. The technician inspected the washing machine and stated that the motherboard was not working. He took the part and later informed me that the user panel also needed replacement.
On 14th July 2025, he returned, replaced the said parts, and charged me ₹8,350, providing a bill which clearly mentioned that the parts carried a 3-month warranty.
However, shockingly, on 13th August 2025, the washing machine developed the same issue again. I called the same technician, who visited on 14th August 2025 and demanded ₹3,500 more for another motherboard, claiming the previous one was faulty. When I questioned this, pointing out that the part was under warranty, he dismissed it and tried to mislead us.
I immediately contacted the official Siemens customer care, provided them with my registered number, and was shocked to hear that they had no record of any such complaint. They also informed me that Siemens charges ₹800 as service charges, whereas this technician had only taken ₹300, proving that the person who came earlier was from a third-party fraudulent service centre, not Siemens.
Later, when an official Siemens technician checked my machine, it was revealed that the previous so-called service centre had installed duplicate parts and done nothing correctly. When I contacted the same toll-free number (1800 571 2055) again and demanded a refund, Ms. Sana flatly refused, despite the warranty clearly mentioned in the bill. She kept disconnecting my calls, avoided communication, and finally stopped responding altogether.
Now, Siemens has told me that I will have to spend an additional ₹14,000 to replace the faulty parts since duplicate components were used earlier. This has caused me not only huge financial loss but also mental harassment.
Hence, I humbly request the Hon’ble Consumer Court to kindly:
1. Take strict legal action against this fraudulent service centre operating under Siemens’ name.
2. Direct the service centre to refund the entire amount of ₹8,350 paid by me for duplicate and defective parts.
3. Compensate me for the mental agony, harassment, and financial loss caused due to their fraudulent practices.
For your reference, I am attaching the bill dated 25th July 2025 and other relevant documents.
I sincerely request your urgent intervention in this matter and justice at the earliest.
