Subject: Complaint against Flipkart for non-delivery of order and inability to cancel the order
I placed an order on Flipkart for the product "Crompton Energion Niteo with 4 Year Warranty 1200 mm Ceiling Fan" with Order ID "OD336903807335796100" on "27/02/2026" for an amount of "₹3425". The promised delivery date for this order was 28 February 2026.
However, the product has not been delivered until today. Since 28 February 2026, the order status in the Flipkart application has been continuously showing “Out for Delivery”, but no delivery agent has arrived to deliver the order and no one from Flipkart has contacted me with any update regarding the delivery.
Starting from 1 March 2026, I have been contacting Flipkart customer support every day to inquire about the delivery status. Every time, the customer care representatives respond with the same message stating that the issue has been escalated to the backend team and that they will contact me with an update. However, neither the backend team nor the delivery team has contacted me, and the product has still not been delivered.
Flipkart has also displayed the delivery person’s contact number under the order details. I tried contacting that number multiple times, but the number is either switched off, not reachable, or busy.
Due to the continuous delay and lack of response, I decided to cancel the order. However, the Flipkart application does not allow me to cancel the order. When I contacted customer care regarding cancellation, they informed me that they cannot cancel the order and that I must wait until the product is delivered. At the same time, they are unable to provide any confirmed delivery timeline.
This clearly shows negligence and deficiency in service by Flipkart. The company has neither delivered the product nor provided any proper solution, and it is also preventing me from cancelling the order.
Therefore, I request the concerned authority to kindly intervene and direct Flipkart to:
Cancel the order immediately.
Initiate a full refund of the amount paid.
Provide appropriate compensation for the delay, inconvenience, and poor service experienced.
I request that this issue be resolved at the earliest.
