Respected Sir/Madam,
I,Greemson Muthappa residing at Kharghar, wish to lodge a formal complaint against Eureka Forbes Limited, the manufacturer and service provider of the Aquaguard Nrich water purifier, for cheating and deficiency in service under the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
I had taken an AMC from Eureka Forbes for my Aquaguard Nrich, with the assurance of timely maintenance and repair, including replacement of parts as needed. However, despite repeated service requests, my purifier has not been repaired. Each time I contact the service team, they insist that I pay separately for the spare parts, stating that only after payment will the repair be completed.
This is in complete violation of the terms of the AMC, which clearly covers such repairs and replacements. Repeated calls and follow-ups have gone unanswered or delayed, showing a clear lack of responsibility and an intent to mislead customers after collecting AMC fees.
This negligence and false assurance constitute deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Therefore, I seek the following reliefs:
1. Immediate repair or replacement of my Aquaguard Nrich water purifier as per the AMC terms.
2. Refund of the AMC charges paid due to non-provision of service.
3. Compensation for the inconvenience, harassment, and mental distress caused.
4. Any other relief the Hon’ble Commission deems fit.
I am enclosing copies of the AMC invoice, service request records, and communication proof for your reference.
