Complaint Details:
  1. I had booked an express courier with DTDC to deliver an important document package containing my vehicle RC book, bike key, and railway cargo receipt.
  2. The promised delivery date was 25th August 2025, but the package has not been delivered till date (29th August 2025).
  3. The tracking status falsely shows the item as “Delivered”, but I have not received it.
  4. The delivery agent is not picking up calls and is refusing to provide any information regarding delivery.
  5. When I visited the DTDC pickup point in Aliabad, Hyderabad (500078), I found that the office has been closed for the last 4 days.
  6. Because the courier contains my railway cargo receipt, I am unable to collect my bike from the railway station. The railway authorities are charging a daily fine for late pickup, which is causing me serious financial loss as I am a student.
  7. I specifically opted for express delivery service by paying higher charges due to the urgency of the documents, but DTDC has failed to provide the service as promised.
Loss and Inconvenience:
  • Financial penalty being imposed by the railway authorities for delayed pickup of my bike.
  • Mental stress and harassment due to non-delivery and false status update.
  • Higher courier charges paid for express service, which has not been honored.
Relief Sought:
  1. Immediate delivery of my consignment containing RC book, bike key, and railway cargo receipt.
  2. Refund of the courier charges paid for express delivery.
  3. Compensation for the penalty amount charged by the railway station due to DTDC’s delay.
  4. Additional compensation for harassment, mental agony, and inconvenience caused.
  5. Strict action against DTDC for marking the package as delivered when it was not.
Evidence Available:
  • Courier receipt / booking details.
  • Tracking status showing “Delivered.”
  • Call records showing non-response from delivery agent.
  • Proof of fine amount charged by railway station.
Prayer:


I kindly request the Hon’ble Commission to direct DTDC to resolve this issue immediately, deliver my consignment without any further delay, refund the courier charges, compensate for the penalty amount, and pay suitable damages for harassment and inconvenience caused.
