I visited Apollo Clinic Kompally for a regular Pro Health Check-up, but the front desk staff convinced me to take a “women’s package” that included a Pap smear and mammography. I was not informed by any qualified medical professional about what the Pap smear involves or whether it was appropriate for me. As I am not married and unaware of the procedure details, I decided not to proceed with it. Despite this, the clinic refused to refund the cost, saying it was part of a package, which was never explained beforehand.
I was told to return later in the evening for X-ray and scan, but later received a call saying technicians were unavailable and to come back Monday. However, I still received an X-ray report the same evening — which turned out not to be mine, indicating mishandling of reports and a serious privacy breach.
After raising a complaint through Apollo 24|7, I was redirected multiple times between departments (including Diagnostics Care), with no accountability or resolution. This has caused me mental distress, physical inconvenience, and financial loss (cab fare and wasted time).
I request:
• Full refund of my health check package amount,
• Reimbursement for travel expenses, and
• Action against the clinic for negligence and data mishandling.
