I ordered a Timex Analog Watch from Amazon.in on 10th May 2025. Upon delivery, the product was found to be defective. I immediately initiated a return request, and the product was picked up on 12th May 2025.
However, even after the product was picked up, my refund of ₹1,098 has not been credited. The app shows “Return may be lost”, and I also received an email falsely claiming that I returned a different product.
I want to clarify that the item returned was the same defective watch, unused, and packed properly. I have screenshots and return tracking proof showing it was picked up on the correct date.

Despite multiple attempts to contact Amazon Customer Service and even tweeting publicly, I have not received my refund nor a replacement. This is a clear case of:

  • Deficiency in service
  • Unfair trade practice
  • Mental harassment and loss of consumer trust
