Complaint against Airtel for failure to cancel non-feasible Air Fibre connection and mental harassment

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Sreeraj, residing at Chiravattam House, Verkoli PO, Polpully, Palakkad - 678552, would like to bring to your kind attention the negligence and deficiency in service on the part of Bharti Airtel Ltd. regarding an Airtel Air Fibre connection.

I had opted for an Airtel Air Fibre connection on 02/12/2025. However, after installation attempts, it was found that the service is not technically feasible in my area due to poor signal availability. Based on this, I immediately requested cancellation of the connection on 06/12/2025.

Despite raising the cancellation request and receiving confirmation, the connection has still not been cancelled even after 8 days. I have contacted Airtel customer care multiple times, and each time I was assured that the issue would be resolved within 24–48 hours. Unfortunately, no action has been taken so far.

Therefore, I humbly request the Honorable Commission to:
  1. Direct Airtel to immediately cancel the Air Fibre connection.
  2. Ensure that no charges or bills are levied against me.
  3. Order a refund of any amount paid, if applicable.
  4. Award compensation for mental agony and harassment caused.
  5. Take appropriate action against the service provider to prevent such negligence in the future.
