I have taken one Health Policy No. 4177i/IBANK/368552090/00/000 on 14th Nov 25 . I have been told that this is premium plan and all pre-existing deceases will be covered after 30 days.
I have switched my HDFC Ergo Policy which i was running for more than 5 years to this policy as this looks good.
In march my wife got admitted and while pre-approval for hospitalization, ICICI team has rejected the claim saying pre-existing is not declared at the time of issuing policy.
No one has asked me for any pre-existing decease and i was under impression that all are covered after 30 days as per their commitment now which they have defaulted.
I have got my wife operated and beared the half cost for the treatment as treatment was done through my official insurance.
After that ICICI has cancelled my policy as well without telling any reason to it.
Please help to resolve
