I am writing this email with serious concern regarding the rejection of my motor insurance claim under Policy No. 10019/31/26/081370 (SHRIRAM GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED) for my vehicle (Vehicle No. HR81C8199).
My claim has been declined on the grounds that the damages are "old". However, this conclusion is completely incorrect and unjustified.
At the time of claim submission, I had duly provided:
I request you to kindly re-examine my claim along with the submitted photographs and provide a detailed written explanation supported by evidence if you still intend to deny liability.
The arbitrary rejection of my genuine claim has caused me financial loss as well as mental harassment. I hope the matter will be resolved amicably at your end. Failing which, I will be constrained to escalate the matter before the Insurance Ombudsman and appropriate legal forum.
