I have a complaint against the CCTV service person who has failed to provide the promised service and products for the discussion cctv new specifications requirement mentioned for equipment purchased. Additionally, he has taken my DVR internal hardware parts and failed to return the same. As well, the person has charged enormous amount of Rs. 90,000/- while the total amount charged for the expired product for warranty and support which are all 2/3 years old is Rs. 1,19,270/- and does not meet the specifications requested by me but has charges me with an extremely high amount inapplicable for the bill quoted by CCTV person for the installed devices also the products doesn't specify that for any warranty details etc for the products he had installed as the products are out of production and product support when checked with the brand of the products. When raised questions to the cctv guy, he stopped giving a proper response and keeps reverting the issue back to me to pay remaining balance amount. I received no response from him. Hence, tried to file a case in the nearby police station. However, one of the officer informed that this case will not be filed for a FIR. As I am unaware that the case is not eligible for FIR, proceeding with a consumer complaint for the respective reasons.
