Hi Team,

I wanted to sell my car and I listed my car on Cars24. So, as per process, a person/executive from Cars24 visit my place for inspection of the car and a test drive.
After everything was done, he asked me to install a Cars24 App and do a subscription of a feature which allows me to bid the price of my cars on their portal.
I told him, let the price to get offer after the inspection and then I will do it if needed. But he insisted to do it immediately saying the car is in very good conditions and you will get very good offers.

So, I had to purchase that subscription and have to pay around Rs. 700. He said, you will have the car price in next 4 hours and then bidding will start as I have the subscription active.
And this never happened, I didn't had any bidding option to my car. In fact the car price was also quoted very less.
That person shared me his mobile number to help me, but his phone number was only active on WhatsApp. I can not call on this number. So I couldn't speak to him, only I could ask on WhatsApp chat. To which he didn't help and was giving very stupid reasons.

His name is Suresh [not sure he tells me his correct name or not]. He works in Pune [precisely in West of Pune]. He claim that he stays near Wakad area.

I am not expecting to get my money back, but rather wanted to highlight this and requesting people not to trust Cars24.

We understand that the cars24 executive Mr. Suresh is not responding properly and you have already paid ₹700/- after the confirmation given by him in the name of auction of the cars.

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Cars24 , formally requesting to refund the paid amount the also add compensation. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response from Cars 24 within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
