Despite this being a pre-paid order, the goods were not delivered. The facts of the incident constitute a clear violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, specifically:
Deficiency in Service: Your delivery partner explicitly refused to deliver the order to the designated address (flat door), which is a fundamental breach of the "doorstep delivery" contract implied by your service terms.
Unfair Trade Practice: By refusing to refund the pre-paid amount for an order that was admittedly not handed over to the consumer, Blinkit is engaging in Unfair Trade Practices. Retaining funds without providing the corresponding goods constitutes unjust enrichment.
Vicarious Liability: As the service provider, Blinkit is vicariously liable for the conduct of its agents (delivery partners). The rude and unprofessional behavior exhibited by delivery partner caused undue mental harassment and waste of my personal time.
