Dear Team,

I have using a prepaid connection for the past 15 years. This service has been Abruptly deactivated without any information or consent through any means. The service had validity and all verification properly done. But still it's deactivated.

I went to local airtel store and enquired reason for deactivation but not provided appropriate reasons for the deactivation. Instead of providing the reasoning, they providing process for reactivation of service.

I approached Appellate Authority through Email, from past 3 weekd they're just repeating the reactivation process with providing a KYC details and a fee of Rs.50/- and the number is subject to availability.

My concern is that, they're not providing the reasons for permanent deactivation. I conversed with them for past 3 weeks but to no avail.

what are your suggestions?? Should I accept the unreasonable and unjustified service abruption. If I took reactivation, it'll be as provided as new connection and what proof do I have for the past usage of 15 years of service ??

1. Is this comes under consumer protection Act??

2. If I lodge a case, will it be stands as a strong base for service deficiency??

3. What might be the pros and cons ??
