SIR/MADAM,

On 12-12-2025, I went to Sharp Enterprises, located at 10-A, 2nd Floor, 5 Africa House Indira House, Topiwala Lane, Grant Road East, Mumbai 400007. Their operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and their phone numbers are 7710042843 and 022-23814743.
They registered my complaint and provided me with a complaint letter and reference number 4426979760. They performed an online diagnostic on my mobile handset using a USB cable from their computer and advised me to call Samsung Customer Care at 1800407267864.

Today, I called that customer care number, and Mr. Balwinder Singh, a customer care executive, answered my call. First, your customer care executive told me that I have been using this handset for more than three years and that, according to Samsung policy, there is only a three-year warranty for display replacement under the FOB policy. However, I informed him that this pink line appeared on my display after updating the device. I also told him that before the update, my handset was working perfectly without any issues, and the pink line appeared on my mobile display only after the update.

I have also read on the Samsung Members application that many Samsung users were facing the same "line on display" issue after updating their handsets. I am sending you screenshots in the attachment as proof of the problems they were reporting on the Samsung Members application, which is owned by Samsung. Many Samsung users are experiencing these problems after updating their mobile handsets.

Your executive, Mr. Balwinder Singh, initially suggested that there might have been some pixel or bug problems in my mobile handset before the update. He then stated that after updating to a new software version, these pixel and bug problems manifested as a pink line on my display. I swear he said these exact words. After hearing this, I was happy because Samsung executive Mr. Balwinder Singh confirmed that this pink line appeared after the update.

He then seemed to regret his words and fell silent. I asked him again to confirm what he had just said, emphasizing that the fault was not on my side but due to the Samsung update. I also told him that there is no dent on my handset. I mentioned that if I were to replace my display for ₹20,000, and then try to sell my handset in its current condition with the pink line on the display, I would only get between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000. He again became silent.I kept saying, "Hello, hello," and after listening to me, he changed his words from what he had said before. I told him that whatever he had said to me, I had recorded his conversation on my mobile. After listening to that, he got shy and became quiet. After that, I was still requesting and pleading with him to show me the way, what I should do. I told him that it is not worth paying more than ₹20,000 for only the display, as my handset's value in this condition is between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. I also told him that I am one of his very old customers. For so many years, I have been using his Samsung company handset, and the rest of all my family members were using Samsung company handsets only. Then again, I told him that he had confirmed to me from his word that after updating, I got this pink line issue in my handset. After I repeated it to him, he was not listening to me and he was not answering me promptly. And once again, I told him that I had recorded his conversation on my handset. Then he told me that whatever he had told me, he couldn't do anything about it, and from his side, he disconnected my call. I was shocked that his executives were doing their jobs like this. His executives were sitting in customer care seats to give us more than the best services without any problems and solve customers' issues. I think if services like this, where his staff guy, Mr. Balwinder Singh, his customer care executive, will treat his customers rudely and not give respect to all customers, then this Samsung company will tarnish Samsung's name. I believe that if this continues, Samsung will face significant losses. Regarding the company staff member's name, please let me know if your company will favor me or not. If not, I will go to consumer court. I am requesting this very politely and respectfully. I eagerly await your positive reply.
