the complainant is a senior citizen residing at Chanarapada , Nimapada , Puri , Pin - 752106 , being a domestic consumer of HP gas , bearing consumer number 610375 booked a gas cylinder on 30th june 2025 and pre paid the amount 881/- through upi utr no 929301148218. Althogh more than a fortnight has been elapsed the gas distributor has not delivered the gas cylinder till today with plea that there is out of stock of gas cylinders. the plea taken is completely false one. it is apprehend that the distributor is involved in black marketing of gas cylinders.

I has been applied new connection of IGL before 6 year. IGL lay out the pipe line in the colony after four year and also pipe fitted in the inter pipe line after the completion of the out side pipe line fitted meter in side of the home and no supply the Gas. After the two year they connect the connection out side the home and prepared the bill with penalty, and huge amount about six thousand and more. and issue the legal notice to the consumer.. This connection applied before six or seven year. Now the IGL connect the connection with permission and we are sifted from another place. please help what we can do we apply also disconnected this connection. IGL They can not disconnected the temporarily. IGL Said connection will be discommoded after bill payment. we are not use single unit and not open the connection. please advice what we can do. IGL also said we disconnect your connection and when you required for connect the connect you will pay 3000/- thousand penalty for connection connected.

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the IGL, formally requesting a resolution of your issue. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
