Dear Komaki Customer Care / Escalation Team,
My name is Paramesha Kalluri. I purchased a Komaki X One vehicle online on 6 August 2026. The vehicle was delivered to me on 14 September 2026.
Unfortunately, the vehicle had issues from the time of delivery. It was not starting, and the middle stand was also malfunctioning. Since the vehicle was brand new and had not even been used by me, I contacted Komaki customer care several times to report the issues.
However, my experience with customer care has been extremely disappointing. The calls were frequently not connected, disconnected midway, or repeated the same questions without any proper resolution. I was initially asked to share the details through WhatsApp and subsequently asked to send the same information by email, but I did not receive any proper response or resolution.
As instructed by your customer-care team, I sent the vehicle to the nearest authorized dealer on 18 September 2026 by booking a Porter vehicle at my own expense.
After approximately 10 days and several follow-ups, the dealer informed me that the issues have been repaired. However, the dealer is now demanding payment for the repairs and is refusing to hand over the vehicle to me.
This is a brand-new vehicle that was defective from the time of delivery and has not even been used by me. I should not be asked to bear repair charges for manufacturing/initial delivery-related defects.
I therefore request Komaki to urgently:
Investigate why a brand-new vehicle was delivered with these defects.
Confirm in writing that I will not be charged any repair/service charges for these initial defects.
Instruct the dealer to release and hand over my vehicle immediately without any improper charges.
Reimburse the transportation/Porter charges incurred for sending the defective vehicle to the dealer, if applicable.
Provide a written explanation of the repairs carried out on the vehicle, including the parts replaced and the reason for replacement.
Take appropriate action regarding the repeated lack of response and poor handling of my complaints by customer care.
I have already spent considerable time following up on an issue that should not have occurred with a brand-new vehicle. I request an immediate resolution and written confirmation from Komaki.
Please treat this matter as urgent and resolve it without further delay.
Regards,
Paramesha Kalluri
