Inordinate delay in processing my refund for my booking from Mumbai to Cape Town booked through MakeMyTrip.

Date of ticket cancelled: March 15, 2026

Despite repeated follow-ups with MakeMyTrip, no refund has been processed. Airline is not ready to assist in anyway since the booking was done through a third party, MakeMyTrip.

Airline has not released the payment.

What is particularly concerning is that Qatar Airways’ own refund SOP provides for refunds to be processed within 28 days. It has now been well beyond 28 days since the cancellation of my ticket, and this timeline has not been adhered to. The continued delay is not only causing significant inconvenience but also reflects non-compliance with your own stated refund process.

Despite multiple submissions and follow-ups by MakeMyTrip, there has been no meaningful progress or communication.

It has been more than 2 months I have not received my refund.

Refund amount - Rs. 60,646/-
