Dear Grievance Officer,

I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding the refund for my Qatar Airways flight booking made through MakeMyTrip under Booking ID: 9AX8U8.

The flight was cancelled in March 2026, and despite repeated follow-ups over the past three months, I have still not received my refund. During my interactions with MakeMyTrip customer support, I was informed that the refund is being delayed by Qatar Airways. However, upon contacting Qatar Airways directly, I was advised that the refund has already been processed and that MakeMyTrip is responsible for crediting the refund amount to me.

This conflicting information has caused significant inconvenience, frustration, and loss of confidence in MakeMyTrip’s customer service. As a customer, I should not be required to repeatedly coordinate between the airline and the travel agency to receive a refund that is legitimately due.

I request that MakeMyTrip:

  1. Provide a clear written status of my refund.
  2. Confirm whether the refund has been received from Qatar Airways.
  3. Process and credit the full refund amount immediately.
  4. Provide a definite timeline for completion of the refund.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be constrained to escalate the issue further through the National Consumer Helpline, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, and other appropriate regulatory authorities.

I trust that MakeMyTrip will treat this matter with urgency and resolve it without any further delay.
