The company responded to my email where I provided the serial number of my Havells Chest Freezer (Model: LHT200CSD, Serial No.: VBLEG337DK6F3) to trace the manufacture date. Unfortunately, the original bill is missing. Although the freezer is still under a 5-year warranty (purchase date: 2022), the company refuses to repair it without the invoice. Due to the technician's negligence, the compressor was permanently damaged, and they advised me to claim the warranty since it is still valid. Attached completed conversation for the same.

Our service center technician visited and found that your chest freezer has a compressor problem and it needs to be replaced, and gas charging needs to be done. As per company norms, the customer has to provide the invoice copy of the purchase of the product, but unfortunately, you have not provided it. If you provide the invoice of your set, we will resolve your issue ASAP. Otherwise, you have to pay the charges.

the issue is the showroom where we have purchased now is no more/closed and there is a furniture shop in that place and i try to find the owner the nearby shops say they owner of the showroom is dead and the sons have close the showroom. so i am stuck with no bill, no duplicate bill and the company asking me to pay 10k for the repairs. also they have send me estimate via email and close the ticket in less than 30 min, i am shocked how they are avoiding the issue completely.

If the company is not providing you the bill details, we can send a legal notice to get the duplicate bill.
 
yes, that will be great, please let me know what are the requirements needed. as mention above the showroom which i purchased is already close and its no more (it replace with a funiture store). is there any possibility with Llyod directely via serial number ?
 
how can we find out as per the maintaining records i doubt if they maintaing then i dont have to come her and ask in the first place. is there any other option
