Complaint Against Blinkit for Wrong Product Delivery and Denial of Refund/Replacement

I placed an order on the Blinkit application for Masala Dry Fruit, as mentioned clearly in the app.
The invoice/bill shows ₹429 for 405 grams of Masala Dry Fruit.

However, Blinkit delivered a completely different product, which does not match the product description shown in the application or the invoice.

After receiving the order, I contacted Blinkit customer support. They admitted that the wrong product was sent due to their mistake. Despite this, they refused to provide a refund or replacement, stating that the product was opened.

Please note:

  • The error was entirely on Blinkit’s side.
  • Opening the product was necessary to verify whether the delivered item matched the ordered product.
  • Denying a refund or replacement for their own mistake is unfair trade practice and deficiency in service.
Instead of resolving the issue properly, Blinkit offered only ₹10 as cashback, which is unacceptable and unreasonable considering the order value of ₹429.

I am requesting:

  1. Full refund of ₹429, or
  2. Replacement with the correct product, as originally ordered.
I request the Honorable Consumer Forum to take necessary action against Blinkit and direct them to provide a fair resolution.
