Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Haier Appliances India Pvt. Ltd.** and **Croma Retail** regarding a defective refrigerator and the consistent lack of proper after-sales support.

I purchased a Haier single-door refrigerator from **Croma, Bandra**, on **7th January 2025**. Within just **10 months of use**, the refrigerator developed a serious issue: **the copper pipe connected to the compressor has corroded**. A copper component of good quality should **never** corrode so quickly, clearly indicating a **manufacturing defect**.

Despite multiple complaints and follow-ups:

* Haier representatives have been denying that this is a manufacturing defect.
* They continue to say it is a “small coil wire change,” even though their own engineer confirmed that the **copper pipe must be replaced**, along with gas filling.
* I have been repeatedly told misinformation, and there has been no proper resolution.
* Croma’s after-sales service has also been extremely unresponsive, sending the same copy-paste emails without taking any action.

This issue has been ongoing for **over a week**, causing major inconvenience. A refrigerator is a **basic necessity** in every household, and being without one has created significant hardship.

We do not wish to accept poor quality standards from well-known brands like Haier and Croma. I am not willing to accept a simple repair for a clear manufacturing defect; I am seeking a **complete replacement or a full refund**, as per my consumer rights.

Therefore, I request the Consumer Court to kindly:

1. Take necessary action against Haier and Croma for failing to provide proper service.
2. Direct them to provide a **replacement or refund**.
3. Ensure compensation for the inconvenience and mental distress caused.
4. Ensure that companies maintain quality standards and do not pass manufacturing defects on to customers.

All relevant documents, including invoice, complaint numbers, photographs, and communication records, will be submitted for your reference.

I kindly request the Honorable Commission to take appropriate action and help resolve this matter at the earliest.
